BIO

David Ogden's musical journey began in the small seaside town of Scituate, Massachusetts, better known as the Irish Riveria, where he grew up the youngest of four, strongly influenced by his musical family.  Following in his father's and brother's footsteps, he played drums in the sixth grade with his first band "The Reflections" until he caught the guitar bug.

"I'll never forget my first hand-me-down guitar," David says, "all beat up with strings a mile off the frets and always out of tune.  Oh, but it was great, a true friend.  I remember always going off, finding solitude either in my room or out in my fort in the back woods, trying to figure it all out.  Little did I know, it would send me on a life-long journey."

David has opened for Jonathan Edwards, Jesse Winchester, Tom Rush, Melanie, and has shared the stage with Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and Freddy (Boom Boom) Cannon.

David's new CD, "No Better Place," produced by Ben Wisch, who has also produced artists Marc Cohen, David Wilcox, Cheryl Wheeler, Kathy Mattea, Patty Larkin and Christine Kane, is filled with heart-felt gems, soulful homesick songs, songs that will bring a smile, and some that will leave a tear. As Les Sampou says, "They're like mini movies full of beautiful cinematography".

Listen to it and let David know what you think by posting a review.  And thanks for spreading the word about his music.
